What’s Shrub?
Our shrub is modern take on an ancient elixir, a drink concentrate made with a refreshing blend of cold pressed fruit juices and organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar (ACV).
Available in Pear Ginger, Cucumber Lime and Rhubarb Vanilla, one bottle makes up to 16 drinks.

Ontario Pear & Ginger Shrub Recipes
1 oz Top Shelf Vodka
1 oz Manning Canning Pear & Ginger Shrub
Ginger Beer, lemon juice and Top Shelf Allspice bitters
Jim and Ginger (Created by The Ace)
Jim Beam Bourbon (2oz)
Manning Canning Pear Ginger Shrub (1.5oz)
Fresh-Squeezed Lemon Juice (1oz)
Honey Simple Syrup (.75oz)
Shake with ice and pour into chilled martini glass
Garnish w/crystallized ginger on a skewer
Pear Sparkler
3oz Sparking Water
1oz Ontario Pear & Ginger Shrub
garnish with Candied Ginger
Ginger & Stormy
1oz Ontario Ginger & Pear Shrub
2oz Spiced Rum
3.5oz Ginger Beer
Rim your glass with sugar, combine all ingredients over ice and let sit and then strain ice out and pour into glass and enjoy!
The Ginger Fizz
1.5oz Dark Rum
4oz Ontario Pear & Ginger Shrub
125ml Sprite
2 drops old fashioned bitter
Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice, garnish with a lemon and serve.
The Dark Stranger
2 oz el dorado white rum
1/2 oz aperol
3/4 oz Ontario Ginger & Pear Shrub
3/4 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
2 twist of lemon peel
Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice, garnish with a lemon peel and serve.
Ontario Rhubarb and Vanilla Shrub Recipes
The Molly Ringwald
Recipe: Make ginger root concentrate by heating 1L water, 1 cup sugar, and 4 tablespoons Ginger Root tea in a pot. Bring to simmer and turn off heat. Strain. Keeps for a week in the fridge. In a cocktail shaker, muddle a few fresh raspberries, then add 1oz fruit shrub (in this case rhubarb vanilla) and 1oz ginger concentrate. Add ice, shake and strain over a glass full of ice. Add soda and lime wedges to finish. Delish!
Vanilla Rhubarb Fizz
1 oz Top Shelf Gin
1/2 oz Aperol
1 oz Manning Canning Rhubarb Vanilla Shrub
2 oz Soda water
Top Shelf Orange Bitters

Rhubarb Sour
1.5 oz Dillon's Gin
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 oz Ontario Rhubarb &Vanilla Shrub
Soda water
Garnish with lemon slice
Combine gin, lemon juice and shrub to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Combine ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain over tall glass of your choice. Add soda water and garnish. Serve.
Rhubarb Kir
1.5 oz Ontario Rhubarb &Vanilla Shrub
Champagne of your choice
Pour shrub into a champagne flute and top with champagne. Serve.
Rhubarb & Campari with Soda
1.5 oz Ontario Rhubarb &Vanilla Shrub
2 oz Campari
Soda Water
Fill a narrow glass with ice, add the campari and shrub. Stir to combine. Top with soda water. Serve.
Rhubarb Frescinator
1.5 oz 66 Gilead Distillery Whole Wheat Vodka
2 oz Ontario Rhubarb & Vanilla Shrub
Fresca
Fill a tall narrow glass with ice, add the vodka and shrub. Stir to combine. Top with Fresca. Serve.

Cucumber Lime Gimlet
1 oz Top Shelf Gin
1 oz Manning Canning Cucumber Lime Shrub
Green Chartreuse, lemon juice and Top Shelf Lemongrass bitters
Cucumber Rosemary Gimlet
2 oz Tanqueray Gin
1 oz Manning Canning Cucumber Lime Shrub
12 fresh rosemary leaves
Muddle rosemary with shrub and double strain, add gin and shake w/ice. Serve straight up in chilled glass and garnish w/cucumber ribbon and sprig of rosemary
